About the Role
This position is based in Los Angeles on the Disposition Management
Team ("DMT"). The DMT oversees all dispositions in the U.S.,
encompassing various product types and the firm's capital sources.
As a newly established team in its growth phase, the DMT is
actively seeking a Director to establish and manage its operations.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in all aspects of
investment management, including acquisitions, dispositions, asset
management, portfolio management, financing, joint ventures, and
more.
What you'll do
In the role, the Director will be in charge of:
- Advise, support and consult on disposition strategies and process
throughout the firm.
- Lead disposition procedures and policies, including checklists,
with internal teams (Acquisitions, Asset and Portfolio
Management).
- Ensuring comprehensive asset preparation is completed prior to
marketing.
- Coordinating and facilitating internal communication and data
collection between Portfolio Management, Acquisitions, Asset
Management, and Debt teams.
- Attending and communicating with intermediaries and other
external parties (title, attorneys, consultants, etc.) in regularly
scheduled status calls and meetings.
- Maintaining data by collecting, reviewing, and verifying key
metrics and counterparties for data mining purposes.
- Reviewing financial models and Investment Committee
materials.
- Preparing quarterly reports and presentations for various
portfolios and product types and effectively presenting and
informing multiple stakeholders.
- Traveling for asset preparation, intermediary selection meetings,
on-site team preparation, and due diligence across the nation.
What you'll need
- Undergraduate degree in Business. MBA and focus in Real Estate
Finance preferred.
- Preferred 10-15 years of experience in asset management with
background in acquisitions, dispositions and portfolio
management.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Word,
PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Strong writing skills.
- Problem solving aptitude and critical thinking skills.
- An ability to take initiative and be an entrepreneurial-minded
self-starter.
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasker and compulsive task
master.
- Ability to lead meetings and manage teams effectively with
multiple offices in various locations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

CBRE Investment Management carefully considers multiple factors to
determine compensation, including a candidate's education,
training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is
$225,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is
$250,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful
candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications,
and experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a
discretionary bonus based on CBRE IM's applicable benefit
program.
