Job Description:

Summary:Our client in West Los Angeles is looking for a Senior or Staff Tax Accountant to prepare and review reports, tax returns, tax projections, and tax research for the company's high profile clients.Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare various types of tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and nonprofit organizations.
• Review financial records and reports to support tax planning and projections.
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to address client tax matters.
• Manage tax correspondence, including notices, jurisdictional issues, and audits.
• Assist with payroll tax compliance and corporate closeouts.
• Support the preparation of financial reports such as budgets, cash flow analyses, and investment summaries.
• Assist with state, local, and international tax compliance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on various accounting and tax-related projects.Qualifications:
  • 1+ years (Staff) or 4+ years (Senior) of experience in tax preparation and/or review.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with CCH Axcess required.
  • CPA license or eligibility is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with accounting or tax software is a plus.Salary & Benefits:
    • Compensation for this role is dependent upon relevant experience
      • Staff - $60K - $85K
      • Senior - $80K - $110K
